Libertés et contraintes dans la réglementation du marché des télécommunications en Afrique de l’Ouest : exemple du marché sénégalais

The United States have for years reserved the management pf their telecommunications sector for a single public company, but it later became a private company. The company operated within the framework of a regulation that defined its rights and obligations. It was in the mid-1970s that the deregulation movement originated in the United States, mainly due to advances in ICTs, the globalization of trade that increased competition, and the liberal ideological Economists at the Chicago School. Privatization, competition and regulation are characteristic features of this deregulation strategy. The uninitiated is lost, especially since this situation requires to be apprehended from a perspective, both economic and legal, or quite simply, a perspective of economic law.
